Established in 1927, Royal Golf Marrakech is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf courses in the kingdom of Morocco. What started as a modest 4-hole layout, inaugurated by the Pacha of Marrakech, has blossomed into a 27-hole oasis just moments from the bustle of the city centre and a real client favourite.

History is abound at Royal Golf with such luminaries as Churchill and Eisenhower having walked these same fairways as guests of the Pacha.

The 27 holes are divided into the historic 18-hole Old Course and the newer 9-hole Menara course. A program of renovations starting in 2018 have only enhanced the course's playability and visual appeal. The upgrades to bunkering, greens and irrigation have ensured the course maintains its prestige today.

The standout holes include the 9th – the “Brigitte Bardot” a famous 152-yard par 3. Baptized by King Hassan II it features two large mounds with a bunker between them and trees on the line of the shot, blocking access to the green. And the 18th - a relatively short 315-yard par 4 tempting the big-hitters to go for the green and an eagle opportunity. However, tough bunkers guard the green and can turn eagles to bogeys.

Royal Golf’s clubhouse is truly something to behold. Awarded "Best Clubhouse" in its category by Golf Inc Magazine, it is a design marvel and a wonderful area to relax after your round. The restaurant, open daily for lunch and post-round drinks and snacks, is something not to be missed.
